Cary NC - Real Estate Blog. While it's tempting to sit inside and indulge in the cold air conditioning during these hot days, the Town of Cary is providing lots of great opportunities to venture outdoors.
July is National Parks and Recreation Month, which the Town of Cary officially recognized at its meeting on July 15th. Sure, the amount of days in July is dwindling, but our parks and greenways definitely are not! One factor that attracts buyers and helps sellers in Cary NC is the promise of outdoor entertainment. Cary is an ideal town for bike riders or anyone who enjoys time outside. Many roads have bike lanes and sidewalks, and there are trails and greenways throughout the residential areas. Hemlock Bluffs and Bond Park two of the amazing parks in Cary. At Hemlock Bluffs you can go on a Midnight Walk and listen to owls or discover hidden salamanders, or walk the trails and marvel at nature's beauty during the day. At Bond Park you can kayak or paddle boat or have a picnic. It's no wonder that these resources boost Cary real estate! For more information look at the Town of Cary website here.
Coming up in late August is Cary's annual Lazy Daze festival. If you haven't gone yet, I highly recommend it just for the experience, even if you don't plan on shopping. For one day each year, part of downtown Cary is blocked off to be filled with vendors and shoppers. Lazy Daze is a festival of Cary's best arts and crafts and entertainment. This year, you can be a part of the quest to create the world's biggest doll! It is estimated that around 50,000 people will come out this year and fill Academy St. All of the information is available at the Town of Cary website here.
These days are packed with activity so grab your hats and sunscreen and enjoy Cary's local culture!
